Wow. I really love this movie! I saw it for the first time the day it came out on DVD. I then watched it again with the audio commentary the next week, and I want to watch it again soon!

I had not read the books before watching the movie. I didn’t even really know that much about it, I just wanted to get it since I thought it looked good, and it was so popular!

When I started watching it, for about the first 30 minutes, I thought it was very slow, and very stiff. The actors didn’t seem like they were acting, almost just like they were just saying the lines without knowing what the words really meant. But after the first 30 minutes, it got better!

After Bella and Edward meet, which was very awkward by the way, the movie picks up speed, and starts getting better! Bella doesn’t understand why Edward doesn’t want to have anything to do with her, or why he is so rude to her. After he saves her life, twice, he starts being a little more nice to her, but when she asks why his eyes color changes, he leaves rather abruptly!

Bella starts to wonder who, or what Edward really is, after her friend, Jacob, tells her the legend of the Cullen family. After she spends awhile on Google, she starts to realize that Edward is a vampire!

Edward admits to being a vampire and Bella, knowing that he might just decide to kill her at any minute, doesn’t really seem to care. She knows in her heart that he could never hurt her. Edward isn’t your normal vampire. And neither is his family, the Cullens. They don’t drink human blood, only those of animals. So in a way they are ‘vegetarians’. Bella feels safe with him, and they start to fall in love.

After awhile, Bella meets up with the three ‘bad’ vampires. They think that Bella would make a nice dinner, so soon Edward and Bella are on the run. I won’t give away any spoilers, but their is a pretty good scene where Bella is about to die, and Edward has to save her, by drinking some of her blood. He doesn’t know if he can do it though, without killing her. I’ll just say, that Bella does live.

I love the prom scene at the end of the movie! I thought it was really good! I won’t say to much about it though, or it will give away the movie!

This is a pretty short review of Twilight, but I didn’t want to give away to much for those of you that haven’t seen it! I will say that this is the best movie I’ve seen in quite awhile! I have now read the book, and am quite that fan! I am now buying the shirts, posters, etc! I just can’t get enough of Twilight!

I thought the actors, especially Kristine Stewart (Bella) and Robert Patterison (Edward) where amazing in this movie!  I also thought they did a very good job bringing the book to life. I also thought that they did a pretty good job of keeping the movie the same as the book.

I can’t wait to see New Moon which will be coming out in November! I hope it will be as good as Twilight! I

I give this movie a 9/10!

Here is a list of some of my favorite Christmas movies and cds! All of the movies are available on DVD!

it_a_wonderful_life_dvd_large“It’s a Wonderful Life” Starring James Stewart and Donna Reed. This is a classic, black and white Christmas movie!

images“White Christmas” Starring Danny Kaye, Rosmary Clooney, and Bing Crosby. This is one of my favorite Christmas movies! It has the best music, and great dances!

“Holiday Inn” Starring Fred Astair and Bing Crosby. This is a great Christmas, or any holiday movie! It’s a classic black and white, musical.

e52“Holiday Affair” Starring Robert Mitchum. This is such a good movie! They also re-made it in the 90’s. Both versions are great, but I think I like the original the best!

i“Gremilns” Ok, this isn’t exactly a Christmas movie, but it does take place during Winter, and during Christmas!

3243“Noel By Josh Groban” This is Josh Grobans first Christmas cd! It’s really great, and I’m not even a Christmas music type of person!

images1Ashley Tisdales “Last Christmas” single. You can get this song on ITunes! It’s really good!

yrt“Bishop’s Wife” Starring Cary Grant and Loretta Young. This is a really good, fun Christmas movie!

images2“Christmas in Connecticut” Starring Barbara Stanwyck. This is such a funny movie! It’s one of my favs!

yrt1“Mrs Santa Claus” Starring Angela Lansbury. This is a cute Christmas musical! Angela Lansbury is really good in it!

This comedy stars Ginger Rogers, George Murphy, Burgess Meredith, Alan Marshall, and Phil Silvers. Rogers plays a girl who has big dreams of meeting a millionaire and marrying him. She meets 3 guys, a dependable one who’s slowly on his way (Murphy). A kind and caring, but poor guy (Marshall). And a millionaire (Meredith). She has to choose between the three, but she just can’t make up her mind! This is a really funny movie! I give it a B-.

This fairy-tale, musical stars Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, Timothy Spall, Idina Menzel and Susan Saradon. The movie stars out as a cartoon, but after the evil queen pushes Giselle into a well, she becomes a real person in New York. This was not the best movie I’ve ever seen! I really disliked it! It wasn’t very good acting, and it was VERY boring! I give it a D-.

This movie stars Will Smith, the last man on earth. He is immune to the virus that has turned everyone else into vampires! He has to survive, while trying to find a cure for everyone. Is he the last man on earth, and will he survive? This movie was REALLY good, but very sad!! I give it a A!!

This Original Disney Channel movie stars Sara Paxton and Lucas Grabell (HSM and HSM2). Paxton plays a ‘good witch’ (think like the “Bewitched” tv show) who goes to the witches university to study magic and find out who she really is, but runs into some bully’s! This was a ‘cute’ but kiddish movie. Okay story, good acting, but nothing spectacular. Nice movie, but not a great one! I give it a C-.

This musical-comedy stars Danny Kaye, Glynis Johns, Basil Rathbone, Angela Lansbury, and Cecil Parker. Kaye plays a a jester who tries, with some outlaws, to overthrow the king. This is movie was okay. I give it a C+.

“Don’t get it wet. Keep it aways from bright light. And no matter how much it cries or begs, NEVER EVER feed it after midnight!”

These are the 3 rules for keeping Gizmo, a mogwai. But as you can probably guess, he gets wet. I can’t really say what happens if he gets wet, because it will give away the movie, so you’ll just have to watch it and see!! I love this movie! I give it a A+!!

This version stars Lon Chaney Jr, the son of the great silent screen actor, Lon Chaney. Chaney Jr. plays a guy who gets bit by a wolf, and when ever their is a full moon, he turns into one! This is my favorite version. It also has a great supporting cast with such actors as Claude Rains, Bela Lugosi, and more! I give this movie a A-!Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

This movie stars Red Skelton, Lucille Ball, and Gene Kelly. Skelton plays a guy who is in love with Ball, but Kelly really likes her too! It’s really neat to see Lucy in something other than I Love Lucy! I give this movie a D-.

This is the  remake of the 1933 version, stars Naomi Watts, Jack Black, Adrien Body, Colin Hanks, and Jamie Bell.  I thought it was way to long(3 hours and 8 minutes!) I think there was a lot of stuff that could have been cut out, because it started to drag at time! They did a good job with king kong special effects. I hated the ‘zombie’ people. I think it was just way to much! I give this movie a B-!Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketPhoto Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketThis movie is based in the book by Christopher Paolini. I recommend watching the movie before reading the book, or you’ll be disappointed! They really left a lot out of the movie, but if they put everything in, it would be way to long. Still, the movie seemed rushed and hurried to get to the end. They did a really good job with doing the dragon. It wasn’t tacky or cheap looking. I give this movie a B+!Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

A hip, modern twist on a classic tale!”~Thelma Adams USA Weekly

This is a Cinderella type fairy tale staring Ann Hathaway (Princess Diaries). When she was born, she was given the ‘gift’ of obedience, which is some ways a curse too. She tries to find her Fairy Godmother who can take the gift away, and along the way, she meets Prince Charmont. I really like this movie. I give it a B!Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
