This comedy stars Ginger Rogers, and Ray Milland. When Susan (Rogers) decides to go back to her hometown, after trying, and failing, to get a job in New York, she finds out that the train fair has gone up. She doesn’t have enough money, so she disguises herself as a 12 year old! Later on the train, she meets a major (Milland)! She starts falling in love with him, but he still thinks she only 12!! This is a really funny movie!!! I LOVE it! I give it a A++!!!

I’ve seen this film many times, and it’s always enjoyable. Ginger as 12 is a little far-fetched, but perhaps Major Kirby and everyone else at the school are nearsighted! Lots of fun, and I always hope at the end that Pamela won’t intercept her when she returns to the dance to meet Major Kirby, but it never happens. Thankfully all’s well that ends well, eventually!
